We are very excited to have you visit one of our Ochsner facilities. As a visiting student, we hope this is an education experience.

As a High School Intern Visitor, you are welcomed to:

• Observing your mentor fulfill daily responsibilities
• Witness firsthand the work environment, employability and occupational skills in practice, the value of professional training, and potential career options
• Look for links between classroom learning and work requirement
• Outside of the patient care room, ask the healthcare workers questions!
• Attending meetings/team huddles with your mentor
• Network, introduce yourself to the healthcare team
• With your mentor, discuss yourself and your career goals
